Delonia Chong
Delonia read law at Cardiff University, United Kingdom and graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) (L.L.B.) in the year 2007. She has subsequently obtained her Master of Law (L.L.M.) in Commercial Law from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. Thereafter, she was admitted to the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn as a Barrister-at-law in 2009. She was then admitted to the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2011.
Delonia has been with Messrs Lind Willie Wong & Chin since 2011. Throughout her career, Delonia often represents clients in all levels of the Malaysian courts on a broad spectrum of litigation areas, including matters relating to general civil litigation, banking litigation, family law, commercial law, bankruptcy proceedings, medical and professional negligence, Islamic finance, shipping and maritime, estate and probate claims, tax law, debt recovery, and others.
Delonia is also a Commissioner for Oaths appointed by the Chief Justice of the Federal Court. She served as the Co-Chairperson for the Young Lawyers Sub-Committee Sabah Law Society during the 2017/2018 term.
